Brian Jacobs

Senior Pastor | Metroplex Family Church

Brian Jacobs is from Talladega, Alabama. He graduated Talladega High School in 1982. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Music from the University of Alabama, and has completed Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government Executive Education Program.

Brian has served as Director of Public Relations for Alabama Senator John Teague, and as a Senior Advisor of Religious Affairs for Congressman Duncan Hunter-Chairman of the Armed Services Committee. He is currently scheduling meetings with Christian leaders for United States Senator Rand Paul. 

He has been in full time ministry since 1987, which includes the Brian Jacobs Evangelistic Association and its consulting services in over three hundred churches and ministries. 


On September 26, 2004, Brian founded Metroplex Family Church with a mission to extend God's love, equip believers in understanding who they are in Jesus, and empower them to serve others. As senior pastor he has authored two books, "It Can Be Done" and "Acts Chapter 29".

He is a certified coach, teacher and trainer with the John Maxwell Team.

Brian married Sheila Moore on September 16, 1995. They live in Fort Worth, Texas with their daughter Allison and two sons Benjamin and Samuel.
